There’s a town in Ontario that will transform into Whoville for a whimsical holiday weekend

The holiday season is in full swing and this Ontario town is gearing up to go all out, transforming its downtown core into a Grinch-themed experience. St. Mary’s will soon welcome all to its Whoville shopping experience, full of Grinch-themed displays, treats and even horse-drawn carriage rides.

On November 23rd and 24th, St Mary’s will transform into a scene straight out of How the Grinch Stole Christmas for its annual Downtown Merchants’ Open House.

The town is just a little over a two-hour drive from Toronto. It’s located between Stratford and London.

Participating local stores will roll out the red, or should we say green, carpet with giveaways, tax-free shopping, and special in-store promotions to spread the holiday cheer.

Treats, Santa, and More!

But that’s not all! From 10 AM to 2 PM, enjoy charming horse-drawn carriage rides.

Be on the lookout for the Grinch himself as he will make his rounds, accompanied by elves passing out Christmas treats.

Oh and snap some pics at the Whoville-themed selfie stations and admire planters dressed up with whimsical Grinch décor.

Hungry? Indulge in tasty Grinch-inspired treats to fuel your holiday spirit.

And last but definitely not least, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance to spread more cheer.

Don’t miss out on this fun and festive event!
