Whistler Blackcomb wants to reopen for the summer on May 31st

We got some great news for all you outdoor enthusiasts. That’s right, Whistler Blackcomb is aiming to reopen for the summer next week on Monday, May 31st.

It’s been a rocky year for the resort, that’s for sure. It even had to close early this winter! But now that COVID is looking a bit better, the resort has got an official opening date. And we are stoked to head up there!

There are so many amazing summer activities to check out at the resort. Yes, believe it or not, but there is more to Whistler Blackcomb than winter sports. You can take a ride up the gondola, check out the Whistler Bike Park or see some of the amazing sights in the area. And it will be all the sweeter after the last year and a half we’ve had!

Of course, there will still be COVID precautions such as mandatory masks in indoor spaces, hand wash stations, and some other rules which you can check out here.

In the immortal words of Billy Mays, ‘but wait! There’s more!’ No reservations are required this summer to check out what the resort has to offer. Very cool!

It’s always awesome to see one more thing that’s showing that life is slowly going back to normal. Especially with such a big and important attraction as Whistler Blackcomb. It’s a massive step in the right direction.
