H2Oh yes! If you’re hoping to make a splash this summer, then you definitely need to know when the outdoor pools around Edmonton are going to reopen. Luckily, you won’t have to wait long, and one in particular is just days away! Here’s what to know.
The first of the pools to open this summer will be the Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool in Kinsmen Park. That one is set to open on Wednesday, June 22nd, which means only a couple more weeks of waiting before you can get down there.

Other options for outdoor pools in Edmonton aren’t far behind, either. The Oliver Outdoor Pool, the Borden Natural Swimming Pool, and the Fred Bostock Outdoor pool will be opening on July 1st, to really kick off the summer weather. Sadly, the Mill Creek Outdoor Pool is set to remain closed all summer long, due to an ongoing ‘rehabilitation’ project for it.
So, whether you’re just looking to splash around with some pals on the weekend, or get a few serious laps in before the work day begins, you won’t have to wait too long until you can once more!
