WestJet now has direct flights from Toronto to Dublin & they start at $267

Travelling to Europe this year? WestJet has relaunched its direct flights from Toronto to Dublin this month and tickets start at $267. Here’s what to know.

The Canadian airline is celebrating the return of its transatlantic flying between Eastern Canada and Europe with flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Dublin International Airport.

“Service between Toronto and Dublin continues be an important part of WestJet’s story, and we celebrate a decade of service that has strengthened ties between our two countries,” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer.

“The return of daily seasonal service between Toronto and Dublin gives Canadians the opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse landscapes, rich culture and warm hospitality of Ireland with the convenience and affordability WestJet is known for.”

If you’re planning your European trip, you can find one way flights for as low as $267 from Toronto to Dublin, this March.

Though you may need to do some digging, you can find flights just under $300 to Dublin depending on the time of year.

WestJet is also celebrating its 10th anniversary of entry into Europe, this summer. The airline began its transatlantic expansion with flights between St. John’s and Dublin back in 2014.

“As the gateway to Europe, direct flights between Canada Ireland have revolutionized the tourism landscape, making it easier than ever for travellers to explore the enchanting beauty and rich heritage of Ireland,” said Tourism Ireland Country Manager, Sandra Moffatt.

“This 10-year milestone represents not just a connection between our two nations, but an invitation for travellers to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture and warm hospitality that we have to offer. As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to welcoming even more visitors to experience the magic of firsthand and create lasting memories that will inspire future travel.”

WestJet has also announced the launch of six new routes departing from Calgary and Edmonton, as well as six extensions.

Set to take the sky this year, the airline will soon offer new flights from Calgary to Seoul, Deer Lake and Reykjavik, and from Edmonton to Atlanta, Nashville and San Fransisco.

It looks like WestJet is reaching new heights in 2024 – literally.
