Here’s where to catch waterpark movie nights in Metro Vancouver this summer

Great news, outdoor movie lovers. It turns out the Lower Mainland’s only dive-in theatre is back for another season of waterpark movie nights, and there will be a mix of family-friendly and 19+ movie nights!

Taking place at Langley’s Aldergrove Community Centre, the series allows waterpark visitors to relax poolside while enjoying a family-friendly movie on the big screen. So don’t forget your inflatable floaties!

Visitors are also welcome to bring snacks or enjoy a bite from the Triple O’s food truck.

Prefer to catch a movie in a kid-free atmosphere? The waterpark’s adult-only Sip ‘N Dip sessions allow those aged 19 and up to have the pools, hot tubs, waterslides, and lazy river all to themselves. Plus, movies can be accompanied by craft beer, wine, and seltzers, which will be served on-site.

Note that tickets to these sessions must be purchased in advance online for either $18.80 for admission and one drink ticket, or $23.80 for two drink tickets.

The same can be said for the all-ages sessions, which also don’t accept drop-ins. Registration opens seven days in advance of each movie night, and all entering the waterpark must be registered, including those not intending to swim.

Here are the movies you can catch at Waterpark Movie Nights (so far):

  • July 18th: Kung Fu Panda 4
  • August 1st: Wish
  • August 22nd: The Garfield Movie

Stay tuned for more info as it comes, including which movies will be screened during the 19+ Sip ‘N Dip sessions, which will take place on July 4th, July 25th, August 8th, and August 29th.

Enjoy, movie lovers!
