Here’s what a $20 million waterfront home in West Vancouver looks like

If you haven’t caught the drift, we’ve pretty much given up on finding affordable homes around the city to showcase. Especially when the big dogs just look so nice! This waterfront home in West Vancouver is a prime example of what $20M can buy you. Turns out, it’s quite a bit.

Located just off Bellevue Avenue in the Dundarave neighbourhood, this isn’t one of those spots where it’s almost as easy to drive to Whistler as it is to get downtown. Instead, you’re afforded a relatively central location that’s super close to local amenities like coffee shops, grocery stores, and other retailers.

Alongside the convenient location, the home is literally on the beach, offering incredible views practically throughout the house. And, since it’s right beside a beach access location, there’s no doubt that people watching will be a top pastime in the morning. Heck, we think you should host random pool parties once you move in for passerby.

Which leads us to the home itself. Having only been completely rebuilt in 2015, the home is a sprawling and beautiful example of contemporary West Coast design. Inside, you’ll find enough space for the whole family plus a few weekend guests, with 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms across some 5,000 square feet of living space.

And of course, a home of this quality needs a few amenities to match. We’ve already mentioned the pool, but there’s also an elevator, an entertainment room, and an in-home theatre to enjoy. But, our favourite touch might be the tea room, which we honestly think we would actually use if we lived there? Wild, we know.

But hey, this is our fantasy of what $20M (technically $19.98M, but who’s counting at that point) can get you in West Vancouver, and we think we better enjoy every square inch of it. To check out the listing for yourself, just click here!
