The weather might be getting chillier, but there’s still time to explore. There are two more Discover Pass Free Days left in 2024. This means two more opportunities to visit Washington State Parks for free this fall!
On a typical day, visitors to any Washington State Park require a Discover Pass for vehicle access. Depending on when you buy it, this costs $30 to $35 annually or $10 to $11.50 for a one-day visit. However there are several “free days” each year, and there are still a couple left in 2024!
According to the Washington State Parks website, “On these days, visitors will not need a Discover Pass to park a vehicle at a Washington state park or on lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW).”
So you can explore the natural beauty of the parks at no cost!
While 2024 is almost over, there are still two days this fall to enjoy the splendor of any Washington State Park for free.
Remaining Discover Pass Free Days in 2024:
Veterans Day – Monday, November 11th, 2024
Autumn Day – Friday, November 29th, 2024
It’s a great way to get out and ‘sample’ parks to see where you might like to plan a longer stay.
Get out there and make the most of the fall season!
