One of Seattle’s most iconic Christmas events is returning this year grander than ever. The Festival of Trees will return to dazzle visitors of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel and give back in a big way to Seattle Children’s. Best of all, there are multiple ways to enjoy the festival.
Starting November 18th you’ll be able to visit the lobby of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle’s Downtown core to see all of the gorgeous designer holiday trees. Expect to see trees decked out in ornaments, bows, flocking, and more. While visiting the trees you’ll also be able to read some of the inspiring stories of Seattle Children’s patients.

Now if you feel like giving back in a big way you can also participate in the Seattle Festival of Trees Gala Auction on November 20th. If you choose to attend you’ll be able to enjoy drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, live and silent auctions, and a scrumptious dinner. Of course, proceeds go to support Seattle Children’s. And if you fall in love with a tree when visiting you can purchase it as another form of giving back but keep in mind trees are $3.8k and few are left.
Whether you’re giving back or simply checking out the trees, this holiday event is a great excuse to wander Downtown Seattle. Grab a holiday beverage, do some shopping and end your day with a stroll through the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. If you’d like to learn more you can click below.
