A terrifying new ride is now open at Canada’s Wonderland & it’s the world’s first

After much anticipation, the gravity-defying Tundra Twister is now open at Canada’s Wonderland!

The amusement park announced that the ride is the first of its kind in the world and the public is now invited to climb aboard.

This thrilling ride isn’t for the faint of heart.

You’ll be strapped into a gondola that twists, turns, and flips up to 40 people at once.

You’ll reach sky-high levels on this giant looping ride that twirls 360 degrees through the air.

At heights of 47 metres and speeds of 75 km/hour, there is nothing else like it anywhere on Earth, according to Canada’s Wonderland.

The manufacturer of the ride, Mondial, has created several other rides in the park including Psyclone, Shockwave, Windeeker, and Soaring Timbers.

Tundra Twister is located just outside the entrance to Splash Works beside Yukon Striker.

Once you’ve had your fun, you can make your way over to the waterpark next door and hit the slides.

Also brand new to Wonderland is the children’s launch coaster called Snoopy’s Racing Railway.

Snoopy’s Racing Railway will take ride-goers through an adventure in Planet Snoopy.

It accelerates from zero to 50 km/h in seconds and takes you through dips and turns as the train avoids traps set by Woodstock and his Bad Seed Gang.

“The Tundra Twister will be a sight to behold, swinging and spinning guests high above the midway and nearby Yukon Striker, while Snoopy’s Racing Railway is sure to become a family favourite among our collection of children’s rides,” said Norm Pirtovshek, general manager at Canada’s Wonderland.

Are you up for the challenge? The ride of a lifetime awaits you at Canada’s Wonderland!
