No snow, no problem: Here’s where to try a new summer tubing experience in Canada

If you’ve never been to Tremblant in Québec, this summer could be the time! The popular destination is “going all in” for summer 2024, with fun new outdoor activities and events – including a new summer tubing experience!

While Tremblant is a must for people for winter activities such as skiing and snowboarding, during the summer it shifts “into action mode at the heart of the pedestrian village.”

New this summer at Tremblant is Summer Tubing.

The synthetic summer ski trail takes fun to the next level: with one side for skiing, and the other for tubing.

Guests can choose from two sliding corridors then get ready to head down the slopes with family or friends on the inner tubes supplied on-site!

until June 20, guests can take advantage of a discount on Multiactivity Packages that offer 16 onsite activities to pick from.

June

• June 1st & 2nd: Canada Cup XCO/Québec XCC Mountain Bike Series attracting trail riding fans, and the pedestrian village gears up to host high-ranking athletes here for the challenge.
• June 5th-9th: The Ball Hockey World Cup and NBHPA Festival are twin events that draw elite dek hockey players.
• June 22nd & 23rd: Devoted to top triathlon athletes on the start line of the IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant when close to 3,000 triathletes compete on a 1.9 km swim, 90 km ride and 21.1 km run.

July

• July 6th: Clay and Friends
• July 10th-14th: The Tremblant International Blues Festival returns in a five-day format with big headliners like North Mississippi Allstars, Marc Broussard, Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.
• July 18th-20th: Les Rythmes New-Country featuring artists such as Guylaine Tanguay, Sara Dufour, Andrew Hyatt and Léa Jarry.
• July 26th: Bobby Bazini
• July 27th: Montreal band The Franklin Electric with frontman Jon Matte

August

• August 2nd: Indie rock band Galaxie
• August 3rd: Montreal rapper Loud
• August 4th: Tone Call
• August 9th & 10th: The Folk Weekend featuring Jason Bajada, and the Barr Brothers.
• August 23rd-25th: A new event: Tremblant Salsa
• August 31st-September 2nd: La Fête de la Musique celebrates the end of summer with classical and world music with art director Angèle Dubeau. 

Hungry? This summer will also feature the upcoming launch of restaurant Léo boire + manger on Promenade Deslauriers, inside the Westin Tremblant Hotel.

Led by Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality corporate executive chef Anthony Walsh, and Montreal’s Bar George executive chef Kevin Ramasawmy, this restaurant will feature breakfast, lunch and dinner, in an “upscale and trendy atmosphere.”
