Toronto’s getting an epic outdoor Christmas pop-up with pizza wreaths & live DJs

A beloved patio spot in the downtown core is about to transform for the holiday season! The popular Fall n’ Leaves pop-up at Bathurst and Richmond is getting revamped for its annual holiday event called Sweaters n’ Snowflakes, a one-stop destination for all things merry and bright.

Pop-up organizers told Curiocity that they’re pulling out all the stops for an extra special season this year, including festive photo ops, delicious eats, and, most importantly, boozy bevvies galore.

The outdoor space will be filled with twinkling lights, jolly Santas, and decorated trees, as well as blazing fire pits and heaters to keep you toasty.

One of the main draws of the event is the glowing 25-foot archway, which leads you right to the action of the holiday market. Plus, the larger-than-life present is the perfect backdrop for some cute photos.

The pop-up is known for its mouthwatering woodfire menu, along with wild treats you won’t find anywhere else. Some of the highlights on this year’s menu include decadent dessert poutine and woodfire pizzas shaped like holiday wreaths. The best part is that you can get all of your treats served inside a Santa hat or toque for an extra dose of holiday cheer.

The bar will serve up spiked hot apple cider and hot chocolate to keep you nice and warm, plus mulled wine, Grinch sangria, gingerbread whiskey sours — the list goes on!

As for entertainment, you can sign up for a wine tasting or ugly sweater cookie painting. The pop-up will also host live bands, DJ nights, carolers, and even a beer and food festival on December 18th.

Sweaters n’ Snowflakes will end the season with a bang with a holiday drag show and an epic New Year’s Eve party to close out 2021.

No tickets are required for general access to the pop-up unless you are painting cookies or tasting wine. So, just show up and get ready to have a jolly good time!
