The Toronto Zoo is hosting a job fair for animal lovers & it comes with free admission

If you have a passion for furry, feathery, and scaly creatures, the zoo wants you! The Toronto Zoo is hosting a job fair this week to recruit new seasonal employees and volunteers.

Job seekers are invited to learn about employment opportunities at the Toronto Zoo and speak with individuals who currently work there.

Plus, all who attend will be given free zoo admission, as well as free admission for one guest, which they can use after the job fair. And admission to the job fair is free too.

According to the Toronto Zoo, employees get to enjoy flexible work schedules, free parking and admission, wellness programs, as well as career growth opportunities, and staff engagement activities.

The zoo has four departments that you can apply for — Wildlife & Science, Facilities & Infrastructure, Strategic Communications & Guest Experience, and Administration Support.

If you’re hoping to pursue a career as a zookeeper, you will often need a university degree or college diploma in zoology, biology or an animal-related field/animal care to be considered.

If you’re simply looking for some meaningful volunteer work, there are plenty of exciting volunteer positions you can apply for at the Toronto Zoo.
