Toronto will feel like summer & fall with a major temperature swing this week

The city is about to get another taste of summer, but it won’t last long. Toronto’s weather this week will warm up significantly before dropping to some of the coldest temperatures of the season so far.

According to The Weather Network’s current forecast, a high of 20°C is expected on both Wednesday, October 5th, and Thursday, October 6th, feeling like 21°C thanks to the sunshine.

You’ll want to enjoy the warmth while it lasts because temperatures will drop to 10°C by Friday, feeling like 7°C with cloudy skies and a good chance of rain.

Overnight on Friday will be even colder at just 5°C, with cooler temperatures also expected on Saturday and throughout Thanksgiving weekend.

However, if The Weather Network’s fall forecast proves to be accurate, this won’t be the last stretch of warm weather that Toronto will get this October.

The Weather Network (TWN) predicts that “warmer than normal temperatures are expected to dominate most of the fall season.”

October is looking especially great with “extended periods of pleasant weather” to enjoy, just in time for pumpkin patch season!

However, Ontarians could be in for a rude awakening as we approach the end of the season.

According to TWN, the milder pattern could break down in late fall, ushering in the start of what could be a very cold winter in most provinces.

Needless to say, we’ll be soaking up the rays while we still can.
