Here’s when Toronto’s splash pads & pools open for the season

It’s getting warm out there, Toronto! And the City of Toronto is getting ready for the summer season with the opening of its splash pads and select outdoor pools as early as next month. Here’s what to know.

According to the City of Toronto, its splash pads are set to open for the season on May 17, 2024.

They will run daily from 9 AM to 9 PM and for the next few months, until September 15th, 2024.

As for its outdoor pools, only 10 of them will open early on June 15th, 2024. These 10 outdoor pools include:

They will be available for use on evenings and weekends only.

Per the City, the remaining locations will open on June 22nd on a partial schedule, just like those mentioned previously.

Full schedules will begin at all locations on June 28th, 2024, unless otherwise noted.

As for wading pools, these will open for the season on June 28th and its hours will vary by location.

All of these outdoor experiences will close on select days in September.

But we’re far from worrying about that!
