Calling all sports fans- the NBA is coming to Alberta this weekend! Earlier this summer, the Toronto Raptors announced that they will be playing a preseason game in Edmonton, and the first-ever game at Rogers Place.
Part of the NBA Canada Series presented by Bell, the Toronto Raptors will be playing preseason games in both Edmonton and Montreal this fall. Naturally, we’re focused on the Edmonton portion, which will go down on Sunday, October 2nd. AKA this weekend.
The Raptors will be facing off against the Utah Jazz in Rogers Place. And if you haven’t secured your tickets yet, here’s how much they are going for right now.

According to Ticketmaster, the cheapest ticket you can get for the game is $187, which is in the upper bowl section, and is of course a resale ticket. For floors, they are going as high as $1,700 per ticket.
Meanwhile over at Stubhub, the cheapest seat you can get is for $174, also in the upper level. You can also find $2,000 tickets on Stubhub for 100 level seats.
For both, it’s looking like the majority of seats range between $250-350 per ticket.
While the NBA Canada Series has been around since 2012, this will actually be the first time the series comes Edmonton, and the first Alberta game in 6 years. So yeah, it’s been a long time coming. Is it worth the price?
