Attention travellers: Here’s how you can stay on top of wait times at Toronto Pearson Airport

Toronto Pearson Airport now has a live wait time dashboard that’ll help make your travel experience a little bit better.

Those who travelled through Pearson Airport this past summer may have experienced really long wait times, especially through customs. Though it has gotten much better in the last few months, with the influx of travellers expected for the holiday season, things may get a little hectic.

That’s why the airport’s new wait time dashboard is here to help. You’ll be able to see how long it’ll take you to go through all the main checkpoints like security, customs, and more.

Here’s how it works:

Travellers can choose either departures or arrivals at Pearson Airport. If you’re departing, this section displays wait times for security, U.S customs, and airline check-ins.

As for arrivals, that section highlights wait times for Canadian customs and immigration, and baggage status. So if you’re a planner, this wait time tracker may come in handy.

Like the dashboard, there are a few new additions and changes that Pearson has shared recently. This includes the new passenger fees that are set to come into effect January 1, 2023. Though fees aren’t fun, according to the airport, the revenue generated will support the operation of the airport and a few new upgrades.

Let’s hope with these new changes, Pearson’s overall customer satisfaction rating improves. Click here to view the wait time dashboard.
