Travelling can be stressful after the holidays, especially if you’re flying out of Canada’s largest and busiest airport, Toronto Pearson!
Toronto Pearson Airport says it’s prepared for the upcoming holiday travel season and is sharing tips and newly added measures to help passengers make their way smoothly.

“The holidays are an exciting time, and Toronto Pearson is proud to play a big part in connecting people with loved ones around the world,” said Deborah Flint, President and CEO, of Greater Toronto Airports Authority.
“This year, we’ve taken significant steps to enhance our winter operational capabilities to prepare for the holidays. The GTAA is fully staffed, has enhanced deicing and slow clearing capabilities, and is ready to welcome a record number of passengers through our airport this winter.”

Pearson also recommends keeping up to date with their social media pages for any announcements regarding flights.
Now bad weather is bound to happen in the winter time but according to Pearson, they’re taking new measures to ensure better travel such as increasing staffing levels, adding additional snow removal equipment, placing more volunteers throughout the airport to assist passengers, and adding greater system resiliency to their baggage system.
