Toronto Maple Leafs to host outdoor practice this weekend & here’s what to know

After two whole years, the Toronto Maple Leafs have brought back its beloved, fan-favorite tradition – the annual Outdoor Practice. And it’s taking place this weekend. Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting event.

Fans have the opportunity to see their favourite Leafs player in person as they hit the ice and practice 3v3, this Sunday. The Toronto Maple Leafs Outdoor Practice presented by Sport Chek kicks off on February 12th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Nathan Phillips Square.

And the best thing about it is that you can watch the team practice for absolutely free. Considering that this is their first time back after a two-year hiatus, if you’re really eager to see them in person, get there early. There is limited capacity.

But that’s not all! Maple Leaf fans have an action-packed weekend ahead of them. On Saturday and Sunday, Activation Alley brings a variety of pop-ups throughout the day, food, beverage, and merchandise stations, too! On February 11th, you can meet some of your favourite Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni during the scheduled autograph signings just after the Carlton’s Party in the Square aka mascot games.

And on Sunday, you can meet some of your favourite Women’s Canadian Olympic Hockey Players right after the Leafs Outdoor Practice. You can check out all the events listed, here.

There’s so much to do, so much to see. And if you’re lucky, maybe you’ll catch the players on the TTC like in previous years.
