Toronto’s music scene is about to get a major upgrade. As many of you may know, Massey Hall is currently undergoing one of the biggest renovations in its 126-year history. The iconic building has been a major player in Toronto’s music industry for years, but now it’s getting even bigger. Massey Hall’s partnership with Allied Properties has just been unveiled, and we just got our first look at the incredible new facility.
Introducing the Allied Music Centre. This seven-storey tower will be attached to Massey Hall and will be serving up some premier musical amenities. Along with the facelift the original building is undergoing, we’ll see a ton of incredible perks at this new addition as well.

Some of the highlights include three new concert venues, a state-of-the-art recording studio, broadcast facilities, artist labs, and creative hubs, a basement bar and performance space, archives, exhibits, and so much more. They’re even opening a 4th-floor club, with killer views overlooking the city skyline.
The building is set to be complete sometime in 2021 and we could not be more excited about it. We know the world of concerts and nightclub nights feels miles away. But once the dust settles on COVID and this new spot is opened, all that fun will be right at our fingertips.
