Just in time for the hot weather, Toronto’s having a pool pawty! A handful of city-run outdoor public pools will open for dogs-only swimming in Toronto this September.
“Dogs are welcome to enjoy a free swim on the last day of the outdoor pool season,” says the City of Toronto.
Because the outdoor pool season has been extended, there will be a dogs-only swim taking place this weekend on September 3rd, and later this month on the 24th.

Proof of rabies vaccination is required for swimming and no reservations are needed. Just show up with your pup, sign in, and off they go!
All dogs must be accompanied by an adult, but for safety reasons, humans are not allowed inside the pool and can supervise their furry friend from the sidelines.
Only two dogs per adult are permitted and dogs displaying aggressive behaviour will be asked to leave the area.
