Love to travel? This Toronto casting call is looking for ‘real people’ & pays up to $7k

Travel enthusiasts, this one’s for you. If you could use some extra cash to fund your adventures, this Toronto casting call may be able to help.

Gound Glass Casting is in search of “real people who love to travel” to appear in three different commercials.

The shoots will take place in Toronto, Thailand, Jamaica, and Mexico and the company is casting for three specific roles.

No acting experience is required to get the gig. All you need is a valid passport and you must be available on several dates in February or March.

The first commercial is casting a Jamaican father and son duo, based in Toronto or the GTA.

The father must be 30 to 40 years old and the son must be 5 to 8 years old. Filming will take place in Toronto and Jamaica. You can apply for it here.

The second commercial is casting three sisters between the ages of 22 and 40, based in Toronto or the GTA.

This gig is ideal for the adventurous type because filming will take place in Thailand and Mexico.

If you and your sisters fit the description, you can apply for the casting call here.

The third and final commercial is looking for a wheelchair user based anywhere in Canada, and filming will take place in Toronto and Mexico. Applications can be submitted here.

If you’re shortlisted, the next step is a Zoom interview with the casting director on January 27th.

From there, you’re living the good life — travelling, appearing in front of the camera, and getting paid well for it.

You’ll be given $500 for a day of filming, $350 for your travelling and downtime day, and then $75 for a quick wardrobe fitting.

If your footage makes it to the final commercial, you’ll be given an extra $5,250. Yes, that means you could make up to $7,000.

Good luck!
