Tripadvisor just named the US’s top destinations for 2022 & they’re all worth a trip

The US is packed with incredible spots to visit, but it’s always nice to be reminded of that. Tripadvisor has released its list of the top destinations in the US for 2022, as part of their annual ‘Best of the Best’ roundup. Curious about which spots got the seal of approval? So were we, let’s see what made it!

Understandably Hawaii managed to top the list coming in first place. Charleston, South Carolina, and Branson, Missouri came in second and third respectively on the list. Hawaii snagged the number one spot due to its natural beauty and ecological features.

Moab, Utah came in fourth for the beautiful nature that surrounds it, most notably the red rocks of Arches National Park. In fifth was Fort Myers Beach, Florida, in sixth Clearwater, Florida, and in ninth Naples, Florida. All for Florida man of course. We kid but who knew that Florida would be such a hot spot!

In seventh place was Mount Desert Island, Maine which happens to be the 52nd largest island in the US. It’s also within Acadia National Park so you really can’t go wrong with that. And on the topic of nature, Talkeetna, Alaska came in eighth.

Finally, in tenth place was Asheville, North Carolina which got a mention for a unique feature, sustainable farming. It looks like 2022 is all about getting outdoors, enjoying our country’s beautiful nature, and supporting the folks who caretake it.

Of course, we’re treating the list as a jumping-off point- the US is filled with incredible destinations from coast to coast, and this recent list only helps to grow it!
