This two-day pet fest with puppy yoga classes & pool party is FREE to attend this weekend

Calgary is lucky enough to see some pretty cool events on the regular but, every once in a while, something rolls into town that really stands out. This summer, that something-something is the 2021 YYC Pet-A-Palooza, an all-out, pup-tacular festival for dogs, organized by people who love dogs and you don’t want to miss it.

This month, between the 24th and the 25th, Calgary will host a series of activities for humans and their furbabies at Calgary’s Eau Claire Market that everyone (including onlookers) will enjoy.

From yoga classes to puppy races, an exhibition which is said to feature several local dog-friendly businesses and our personal favourite, a 120- foot pool and party, complete with DJ’s, a cabana, and floaties, Pet-A-Palooza is going to be the wildest, cutest, most memorable event we’ve had in a hot minute.

The best part? This entire shindig is totally FREE to attend.

Though this event is a fundraiser for the Just Love Animals Society and donations are encouraged, you aren’t in any way obligated to drop even a single dime if you don’t want to or aren’t in a position to.

All that they ask is that you come, leash in hand, ready for a weekend of fun, sun, and puppies. Lots and lots of puppies.
