We’re going to paint a quick picture for you- you’ve just woken up, and you’re breathing in some fresh mountain air before you go spend some time with adorable barnyard animals. The Sweetwater Lane Farm (the official name) is a homestead farm located near Mount Currie, in the heart of the Pemberton Valley. A working farm, it offers guests lush year-round gardens, animals like cows, pigs, and chickens, and stunning views of the Garibaldi mountains.

In fact, you can really dive into the farm experience while you’re there. Since the hosts live just down the driveway, they’re happy to give farm tours to guests. Heck, you can even help out a little bit. We’ll be honest, we’ve never down sunrise rounds feeding the chickens, but that sounds like an experience we wouldn’t forget.

Thanks to its location, it’s a nature lover’s dream. Those visiting in the summer and fall can look forward to fishing, skiing, mountain biking and golf. As for those making the trip in the winter, you can visit nearby snowshoe trails, go for a winter walk, and of course, take a quick drive to Whistler for some world-class skiing.

Whatever the case, the farm is ready to host the apres. The main house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests. But honestly, we’re more focused on the private sauna, fire pit and hot tub all on the property. Especially after a chilly winter day of activities.
