This popular Toronto drive-in could be hosting events as early as June

One of our favourite pastimes last summer was heading over to the drive-in. With the perfect mix of nostalgia and, of course, COVID-19 safety, it was the ideal outing at the time. Well, one Toronto drive-in might just be on its way to making a comeback. Yep, we’re talking about the CityView Drive-In.

This lovely little spot was one of the most popular destinations for a number of months. It’s located right on the water with beautiful views of Toronto’s skyline, so that fact isn’t surprising to anyone. They because known for their many drive-in concerts, movies, and special events.

Will those events be back soon? Maybe! The CityView Drive-In has been rolling out announcements of upcoming shows, as well as a rescheduled lineup of things headed their way as early as June. What have they got in store? The Drive ‘N Queens Summer Series is kicking off June 12th, and The Horseshoe Tavern Chill-O-Rama begins July 15th. You can view the full schedule of upcoming events right here.

Of course, all of this does depend on what Ontario’s COVID-19 restrictions are looking like by the time June rolls around. At the moment drive-ins are not allowed, but we’re all crossing our fingers that changes soon.

In the meantime, keep on staying home and staying healthy. It’s our best bet to catch these awesome entertaining events sooner than later!
