Numero uno on that bucket list is a trip to the 10Below Icewine Lounge in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This incredible igloo-like lounge by Peller Estates is a definite must-see. Their offering socially-distant tours that are perfect if you’re looking for a COVID-safe way to enjoy the winter.

So let’s talk about the spot. The 10Below Icewine Lounge is a winery experience like no other. The entire place is kept a brisk 10°C below zero, to ensure they harvest the perfect ice wine grapes. Their igloo-like structure is sculpted out of a whopping 13,607 kilos of ice and the wine produced here is basically liquid gold.

When you stop by for a tour, you’ll be taken through the grounds of the magnificent winery. Your experience begins with a sparkling glass of wine on the patio. Then you head out to explore the vineyard and sample tons of other delicious wines along the way. It really is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
