This magical ice sculpture festival takes place on one of Alberta’s most beautiful lakes

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. This time, loud enough for the people in the back! Alberta is an incredible place in the wintertime, but if you weren’t already convinced of this, we’ve got an event that will make you see it in a whole new light. This January, experience the enchanting Lake Louise Ice Magic Festival, a dazzling event featuring world-class designers, artists and craftsmen.

Held on the iconic Lake Louise, this 12-day exhibition will see larger-than-life ice sculptures come to life, as the pros compete for ‘best in show.’

During the festival, tourists will be able to skate, grab a hot cocoa and of course, watch regular chunks of ice become castles and dragons, animals and objects right before their eyes all against the most beautiful backdrop in the world.

Interested in checking it out? For more information or to inquire about tickets you can check out the Banff & Lake Louise website here – but don’t hesitate!

This event will only run between January 19th until the 30th – which sounds like plenty of time but will fly by – just look at how fast 2021 has come and gone!  You won’t want to miss it!
