This French Chateau for sale in Toronto looks like a castle inside

Another week, another trip into fantasy land, where we explore all the snazziest and out-there property for sale in Toronto. This week, we’ll be looking at a gorgeous French Chateau located in the northern part of the city. This beautiful property is really more of an estate than a regular old house. It has loads of gorgeous perks and amenities, and is seriously the stuff of dreams.

HOME OF THE WEEK: FRENCH CHATEAU INSPIRED BY STONE ESTATE

So this French Chateau is located in the coveted Hoggs Hollow neighbourhood. The area is known for being home to some of the prettiest houses in the city. It’s just steps from the subway line, nestled in at the corner of Yonge St and York Mills. But it’s still far enough north to feel like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of Toronto living.

Once inside the house, you’ll be met with a classy and regal feel. The home’s decorative moulding, ancient stone fireplaces, and chandeliers throughout seriously give off an almost-royal vibe. Yet, with all its gorgeous homages to the past, it’s still kept up-to-date and modern, with state-of-the-art appliances and perks.

All-in-all, the home comes with a whopping total of 13,000 square feet of living space. So plenty of room to roam around. Within the space, you’ll find 5 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a massive 6-car garage.

Some of our favourite spots of the house have got to be all the little castle-like details. Something about the library (yes, there’s an at-home library) seriously gives off an old, romance novel vibe. We picture sitting by the fireplace, sipping a cup of tea, and pretending to be interested in classic literature.

Some of the other amenities of the home include high-end perks like an elevator, chef’s kitchen, his & hers master ensuites and closets, and gorgeous garden and landscaping. Oh, and a home gym, theatre, and massage room.

Of course, we have to mention the stone-laden basement. We can’t decide if this part of the home is gorgeous or scary. But either way, we’re intrigued.

The wine cellar this French Chateau boasts is also nothing to sneeze at. The room is temperature controlled and can hold up to 11,000 bottles. So along with becoming a fan of ancient classic literature, you’ll also become an expert on classy wine labels as well. Not a perk we’re complaining about!

If you’d like to become the lucky owner of this amazing estate, you’ll just half to cough up a nice $12,800,000. Or you can be like us and keep on dreaming. Take it all in here.
