This exquisite 1924 estate in Woodway just hit the market & comes with 9 acres

Some of Washington’s most exquisite homes are in the places you’d least expect, like Westwold. This 1924 secluded estate on 9+ acres is located just outside of Edmonds in Woodway. It was inspired by the Cotswold Manor in the UK and now it could be yours as it’s on the market.

The home was originally custom built by Woodway founder David Whitcomb Sr and no detail was spared during its creation and construction. Meticulously selected materials like slate roofing and Wilkeson sandstone ensure that Westwold will endure for many years to come. Further, its European charm and historic integrity have remained intact through thoughtful updates throughout the years.

Inside the home’s 12,932 sqft you’ll find 6 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, 2,400 bottle wine cellar, and a conservatory. The home’s main floor design has a seamless flow and western terraces with views of the Olympic Mountain Range and Puget Sound abound. And if you take a look outside the conservatory you’ll find a 75-ft Pennsylvania bluestone pool.

The home is fit for a modern-day king or perhaps a tech lord as would be appropriate for our state. Either way, if you’d like to make this historic home yours it’ll cost you $16.7 million dollars, ouch. Probably out of the budget for most of us but if you’d like to take a closer look you can see more by clicking here.
