Back in 2020, we found out that a new Nordik Spa location was coming to Whitby, just outside of Toronto. We were outrageously excited about it, then COVID came around and spa days were immediately a no-no. Well, we’re back with a reminder since the opening date is getting closer and closer! Let’s take a look at the stunning Thermëa Spa Village.
Thermëa Spa Villag is actually from the same group behind the stunningNordik Spa-Nature in Chelsea, Quebec. However, that one is like a four-hour drive away, which really doesn’t work for those looking for a nice day trip. So the convenience factor is there, but what about amenities?

Surprise! It’s almost overflowing with options. The focus here is on heat therapy and other Scandinavian-inspired techniques. Their amenities include 7 outdoor pools, 8 saunas, 3 restaurants, 1 saltwater flotation pool, 25 massage rooms, a beach lounging area, and more. We’re not making this up. This place is really going to exist.
And it should be open within the next few months! We suggest following along on Instagram, but we’ll keep you posted once a date is announced. Because we can’t wait, either!
