This caravan stay deep in a forest near Toronto is unlike any we’ve seen before

Our favourite quarantine hobby is in full swing: daydreaming about all the post-pandemic vacations we’ll be taking one day. Although travel is a big no-no right now, we’re looking forward to the (hopefully near) future when exploring the province will be an option once again. When that day comes, we’re definitely planning on check out this unique caravan stay in the swaying cedars of Orono, Ontario.

*Editor’s Note: We aren’t recommending any non-essential travel to locations outside of your Ontario region. Book this one for the future, folks!

CARAVAN STAY IN SWAYING CEDARS

This anything-but-ordinary spot will provide you with an escape unlike any other. The caravan stay is nestled within a vast, sprawling forest approximately one hour drive away from Toronto. With 18-acres of field and forestry, this place provides the ultimate form of solitude in nature. There’s seriously nothing quite like it!

Of course, the caravans themselves are certainly something to marvel at. We’re sure you’ve never stayed at a destination quite like this. The design takes inspiration from authentic Romani Vardos – which are horse-drawn wagons and, according to the stay listing, the traditional home of Romani people.

Each caravan is equipped with a wood stove, beautiful canines, and intricate decoration. Plus, the place is powered by solar energy so it’s more environmentally friendly than most!

The beautiful grounds all this is situated on cannot be overstated. Just look at those photos and tell us it doesn’t look like walking right into a fairytale! This beautiful forest pond is seriously magical.

The entire property is loaded with unique factors to uncover. From their overgrown orchard to the old barn, the pet cemetery, the gardens, the outdoor fire pit, and more, there’s never a dull moment here.

They’ll even serve you a full breakfast every morning! The organic menu is included in your stay, and even has vegan and vegetarian options available. Talk about great service!

So if this place seems like your dream post-pandemic destination, be sure to book your upcoming stay soon. The spot is definitely one you’ll remember. Take it all in here.
