This Canadian plant company wants to revolutionize online shopping

From tropical plants to cacti, we can’t think of an easier way to brighten up a space than with a beautiful, healthy plant. Fleur & Co. feels the same, which is why they’ve got an unbelievable collection of plants available on their online store. But, that’s just the tip of this iceberg, and we’re very excited about what they have planned next.

That’s because Fleur & Co. is aiming to be Canada’s first plastic-free online retailer, and is taking some serious steps to get there by 2025. They’re already plastic-negative, thanks to a partnership with Repurpose Global, a social enterprise that’s ethically reclaiming plastic waste in India, Indonesia, and Ghana.

Curious about what exactly ‘plastic-negative’ means? Basically, for every ounce of plastic that Fleur & Co. has to use to get your plant to you, they remove double the amount from the ecosystem. Pretty great move from a plant company, if you ask us.

And, what a plant company it is! Fleur & Co. has an insane selection of plants, from tried and true classics to hard-to-find tropicals. So, whether you’re after that first succulent for your apartment or going for a ‘botanical garden at home’ vibe, they’ve got you covered. We don’t know about you, but we’ve been eyeing a snake plant for a while, and right now they’ve got it on sale.

Of course, buying a plant isn’t the same as taking care of one. And once again, Fleur & Co. has your back, with a huge collection of care guides and tips for all sorts of problems. Seriously, if the plant you already own is looking kind of down, it should be the first place you go to look for answers.

If they’re just giving this info away, you’d be right to think that their customer service is also second to none. To start, if your plant doesn’t arrive safely, then you’re guaranteed another one free of charge (yes, even during cold snaps in the winter). And once it’s in your hands, you can look forward to lifetime support in caring for it, alongside those aforementioned care guides.

Plants make great gifts just about any time of the year, but we’ll be the first to admit that Mother’s Day is just about the perfect time for it. We say start out by exploring their plant collections, with a focus on Easy Care, Pet-Friendly, and Low Light options.

So, whether you’re shopping for your mom, yourself, or whoever, keep Fleur & Co. in mind this spring!
