As president of the British Pacific Properties, Taylor was the one responsible for not only the Lions Gate Bridge, but also the British Properties as a whole. Sure, he got some help from notable investors like the Guinness Family, but the whole thing was his idea. He was so invested in the area that when he died in 1945, his ashes were scattered from the centre of the bridge. Spooky backstory? Check.

And naturally, the home itself lives up to the reputation of the past owner. At just over 5,000 sq. ft. the home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. But more importantly, it comes with all the fun touches you’d expect from a house of that era.
