This Alberta company is making miracles happen & inspiring us to do the same

There are few things that truly get us into the holiday spirit – festive lights, music and décor all around, giant mugs of hot cocoa AND inspiring stories of spreading the joy and giving back to the community. And that’s exactly what connectFirst Credit Union did recently. connectFirst’s team came together to create a few special moments to remind Albertans that we’re all in this together.

The credit union gives back to the community in so many different ways all year round, but they’ve upped their game this holiday season, and have taken it upon themselves to make miracles happen.

It’s been a tough year for Alberta, and connectFirst decided to go the extra mile to share the holiday cheer with those who could use some extra love with their #bethebeacon initiative. As part of the initiative, the credit union gave its local branches a certain budget they could use to support the local communities. And the connectFirst employees delivered!

So far, these real-life miracle makers have delivered gifts, love and joy to 40 different communities across Alberta.

Now here’s the best part: they are giving us all a chance to make our holiday wishes (for ourselves or a loved one) come true. connectFirst Credit Union has opened the floor for requests on IG. All you have to do is show them some love on the ‘gram and drop in your wish in the comments. And five lucky folks will have their own miracle too.

So, head over to our Insta and make your wish. While all things in life might not come easy, this one sure can!
