The weekend is just around the corner, and it’s time to start making a plan. The city of Toronto just got its first glimpse of spring, which means one thing: getting out of the house and doing something fun. From concerts to plenty of sporting events, these are 10 of the best things to do in Toronto this weekend.

Superkick’d

The epic pro wrestling show Superkick’d is back! Happening at The Great Hall, tickets are still available, an awesome way to shake up date night or an evening with friends.

Megan Moroney concert

Oh my god, am I okay?! I’m hitting up one of the two Megan Moroney concerts this weekend, and you should, too. Moroney has shot up in fame this year, and this is a great chance to see her at a smaller venue.

When: Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22 at 7 p.m.
Where: History, 1663 Queen St. E
Cost: $450+ per ticket

Disney’s The Lion King

The Lion King comes alive on stage at the Princess of Wales Theatre, all weekend. There are multiple shows to pick from on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

When: Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 23 at multiple times

Evergreen Brick Works Farmers’ Market

Head to Evergreen Brick Works Saturday market for fresh produce, baked goods and pantry items such as a selection of different kinds of honey – yum.

When: Saturday, March 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Ave.
Cost: Free admission

Pancake Luncheon at Bellwoods Brewery

Pancake and beer brunch, anyone? Bellwoods Brewery will serve Mashups of some of their most beloved beers, one IPA and an Ontario Maple Syrup Nitro Stout, along with stacks of pancakes.

It really doesn’t get any better than that.

Jelly Roll concert

Country music sensation Jelly Roll is taking over Scotiabank Arena this Saturday! There are still a handful of tickets left, so take this as your sign to secure yours ASAP.

Rahul Dua Live

Need a laugh? Rahul Dua is bringing his comedy show to Meridian Hall this Saturday! Boasting nearly a million Instagram followers, Dua has some hilarious bits you won’t want to miss out on.

PWHL watch party

Liberty Village’s Left Field Brewery is hosting a watch party for the Toronto Sceptres meeting with Montreal on Sunday. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with puck drop at noon. Be sure to secure your spot beforehand. The watch party is a queer event, and there will even be wristbands given out to show if you’re single, looking, or polyamorous and ready to meet new people.

Fill-a-bag shopping experience

Stackt market’s Steady Reserve and Prime Rewind are teaming up to bring back fill-a-bag! From noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, shoppers will get the chance to dig through a selection of curated vintage finds and fill a bag with as much as they can as long you can close it shut.

Toronto Raptors vs. San Antonio Spurs

The Raptors have a Sunday evening matchup with the Spurs, and even better, it’s Pride night! There are tickets available for under $70.

Cost: $68+ per ticket
