We can’t promise it’s clear skies ahead this week, but we can promise a good time. Vancouver’s Fringe Fest is still on, Keith Urban is bringing his world tour to Rogers Arena, and what might be the last beachside night market of the year is coming up. This independent local arts festival has been a staple in the city since 1985, fostering a community of emerging performing artists that tours across North America. This year’s festival features 87 live theatre, comedy, drag, and music performances.
Looking for a spot to unwind at or connect with a friend between shows? Head to the Fringe Bar, where you’ll find refreshments and nightly food trucks on a covered patio, as well as some of your fave local performers.

X Ambassadors are a high-energy rock band known for their genre-blending sound and unforgettable hits like “Renegades,” “Unsteady,” and “Boom,” and they’re bringing their North American Tour to the city this week.

One of the headlining events of the week (pun intended) is Keith Urban’s High and Alive World Tour, which is coming to Rogers Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025. So, get ready for a night of chart-topping hits as the artist is joined by Chase Matthew, Alana Springsteen, and Karley Scott Collins.

Vancouver’s first and only beach market is back for another round of food trucks, restaurant pop-ups, sunset yoga, sound baths, live music, and more.

The season of outdoor workouts is not over yet! There’s still one more Summer Mat Pilates class coming up at The Shipyards this week on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025. The family-friendly Pilates session is open to individuals aged 12 and above and offers breathtaking views of the Vancouver skyline.

Grad School Improv presents Point Grey’s Anatomy at the Little Mountain Gallery all week long, until Sept. 14, 2025. The completely improvised show features elements of your favourite medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy, while tackling real-world issues plaguing the healthcare industry, such as psychological burnout, workplace relationships, and more.

Broadway Across Canada has officially brought The Lion King production to Vancouver, and you don’t want to miss out on the incredible artistry, from the costumes to the unforgettable music. The Tony Award-winning musical features some of Broadway’s most recognizable songs and choreography, and now is your chance to see it all come to life onstage in Vancouver.

What better way to cap off the week than at a local beer and music festival? Metro Vancouver’s largest three-day music fest (Barnside Brewing Harvest Festival) features headliners Walk Off the Earth, Arkells, The Dead South and many more, in addition to an artisan market, family zone, and plenty of craft beverages and food trucks.

The Improv Centre on Granville Island is putting on a new experimental show called Spontaneous Combustion, which blends seasoned pros with rising stars for the ideal night of comedy and connection. Get ready to experience a chain of improv scenes where anything can happen.
