Blossoms After Dark

For three nights at the end of the month, Vancouver’s David Lam Park is transforming into a magical, illuminated experience, which means the park’s blooming cherry blossoms will come alive with bright, glowing lights and colours.

Visitors can stroll through the park and enjoy live music, mystical “bubble performances,” LED flow dancing, and themed eats like glow-in-the-dark cotton candy and pink popcorn.

The Big Picnic

As one of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival’s most popular events of the year, The Big Picnic attracts hundreds of attendees from across the city in celebration of Dr. David Lam’s donation of cherry trees to the City of Vancouver.

Participants get to enjoy a lineup of local talent on the Cherry Jam Stage as well as a variety of interactive arts activities, and of course, any food they choose to pack for their picnics!
