Welcome to the first full week of summer, Vancouver! The long weekend is rapidly approaching, and you don’t have to wait for it to officially start to kick off the festivities. From a Snoop Dogg concert to outdoor movies, to Bard on the Beach, here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this week (June 24-28).
Australian heavy metal band Northlane is bringing their North American Tour to Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom this week, and it’s not too late to snag tickets.

The Brick is having a massive Black Friday Is Back promo from Thursday, June 20th until Sunday, June 23rd. If you need new furniture, this is a great chance to save some money! It’s officially Bard on the Beach season, and there are two Shakespearean shows you can check out at Vanier Park this week: Twelfth Night and Hamlet. And for those who want to upgrade their experience, check out Wine Wednesday, which provides guests with exclusive pre-show wine tastings!

Now in its third year, Deckchair Cinema brings movie-goers together on Cates Deck in front of the Polygon Gallery for weekly al fresco classic film screenings on Thursdays starting June 27th.
Screenings will begin at sunset, and will be accompanied by music and live entertainment leading up to the movie start time.

Every year, Coastal Jazz hosts a slew of local and international talent at venues across the city. And this year, Grammy-winning rapper, advocate, and entrepreneur Killer Mike is headlining the festival! So whether you’re hoping to see him live or catch a free jazz show sometime this weekend – you’ve got options.

It’s baseball season, Vancouver! This week, the Vancouver Canadians are up against the Hillsboro Hops on June 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th.

Science World’s latest exhibition kicked off last month, and now’s a great time to check it out if you haven’t already. Earth Matters” Rethink the Future immerses guests in our connection with the natural world, allowing participants to engage in interactive challenges and large-scale visualizations of our planet as it undergoes climate change.

Home to literally hundreds of vendors, the Richmond Night Market has become a must for food and drink lovers, and it looks like we’re getting some great summer weather this week!
