It’s officially the first week of December and the final few weeks of 2024. It’s also the week that Taylor Swift brings the final three days of her Eras Tour to Vancouver, which means there is tons to do around the city to celebrate! Whether you’re looking for Taylor-themed festivities, want to catch the Billie Eilish concert instead, or hit the ice at the Robson Square Ice Rink – here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this week (December 2-6).

This special edition of Science World After Dark takes Swifties and science lovers on a whimsical journey, complete with a sing-along dance party with DJs, a Taylor Swift trivia challenge, binary code friendship bracelets, and more from 6 to 10 pm on Wednesday, December 4th.

Yup, it’s finally time, Swifties! Taylor is making her way to the city on Dec. 6, 7, and 8 for her Vancouver leg of the Eras Tour. If you’re one of the lucky fans who managed to get tickets, consider starting (or capping off) your night with a sip at one of these Vancouver bars as different eras.

From 4 to 10 pm on 12 nights in December, the PNE is transforming for its annual Winter Fair, and the cheapest days to check it out are December 6th to 8th, 12th, and 16th and 17th, when admission is priced between $14 and $20 if you purchase your tickets ahead of time!
So take advantage of those times and enjoy this year’s dazzling light displays, indoor skating, and Christmas-themed concerts.

For a limited time during Capilano Suspension Bridge’s Canyon Lights festivities, the iconic North Vancouver suspension bridge is turning into a “Taylor-inspired wonderland” in celebration of the final days of the Eras tour. As a tribute, there will be live performance of her biggest hits throughout the eras from December 5th to 9th. The bridge itself will transform with a giant friendship bracelet hanging over the canyon, making for a fun photo-op!

Who’s ready to kick off ice skating season at Robson Square? For just $5 per skate rental, you can skate to your heart’s content at the Robson Square Ice Rink starting this week.
Upon opening, the ice rink will operate from 9 am to 9 pm.
