It’s almost the long weekend, and we’re ready to dive into this list of outdoor adventures, concerts, baseball, and the world’s largest Vaisakhi Parade. Here are 11 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this weekend (April 18-20).

Surrey Khalsa Day Vaisakhi Parade 

Every April, millions of Sikhs world-wide celebrate Vaisakhi Day to celebrate the establishment of the Khalsa order by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (10th Sikh Guru) in 1699. It’s one of the most important days in the Sikh calendar, and the world’s largest Vaisakhi Parade takes place right here in Metro Vancouver.

The parade will start at the Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar Temple at approximately 9 a.m., according to the event page.

Vancouver Canadians vs. Eugene Emeralds 

Cheer on the Vancouver Canadians at the Nat all weekend long as they face off against the Eugene Emeralds. With games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you’ve got plenty to pick from!

Brazil Gourmet at The Quay Market & Food Hall 

From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Friday to Sunday this weekend, Brazil Gourmet will be at The Quay with a ton of different Brazilian dishes.
