Canada’s Fan Expo is coming to Toronto, one of the year’s most highly anticipated events!
Lovers of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, gaming, and cosplay are encouraged to come out and meet fellow fans and some special celebrity guests such as SImu Liu, Bryce Dallas Howard, Josh Gad, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Corbin Bleu, Rosario Dawson and more.

“Toronto’s most captivating art and muralism festival” is happening Saturday, transforming the street into a “cultural extravaganza, where visitors will be entertained with every step.”
Murals, art installations, dancing, this fest will have it all when it comes to all things creative.

Where: On Yorkville Avenue from Bellair Street to Hazelton Avenue

According to the event page, this festival is “the largest Tamil street festival of its kind outside of the Indian subcontinent. Tamil Fest focuses on promoting diversity by sharing the rich Tamil Culture among fellow Torontonians and Canadians, through great exposure to cultural food, artistic talents and traditional activities.”
This two-day festival is free to attend, too!

It’s the last Toronto Outdoor Picture Show of the summer! Don’t miss out on catching a free movie at Christie Pits Park. The final flick is a classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
The treats and snacks start at 6:00 PM while the show will begin based on sunset, usually around 8:30 PM.

Summer Music in the Garden at Harbourfront Centre is only on until the end of the month so get out on Sunday and catch a free performance from U of T’s percussion ensemble.

The second last Promise Cherry Beach is happening on Sunday!
Promise is “a vibrant daytime summer electronic music festival series that has been a cherished fixture on the Cherry Beach Park waterfront for 24 years.”
