10 things to do in Toronto this week (Feb. 2-6)

February is here, and we’re welcoming the month with open arms. And like always, the month has brought a ton of events and things to do across Toronto. To help you plan, we’ve rounded up the best things to do. Get ready for a fun-filled week.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Trivia

Earl Bales Ski and Snowboard Centre

It’s a great spot for beginners, especially those looking for lessons.

The centre also offers advanced instruction and access to both beginner hills and full runs for the more experienced.

Now with this recent snowfall, conditions are perfect.

When: Monday, Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Disney Trivia & Dance Party at The Rec Room

Hit up the Rec Room for the ultimate Disney trivia and dance party. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the first round of questions at 7 p.m. A dance party kicks off right at 10 p.m. Get ready to jump into a whole new world and dress to impress. Costumes are encouraged.

Wednesdays at Gardiner Museum

Head over to the Gardiner Museum on Wednesday nights after 4 p.m. for free admission. No advance registration is required.

DJ Skate Nights at Hangar Skate

Skate, dance, have fun!

Hangar Skate is free to attend, and there’s music and a few other festivities you can enjoy while you’re there. Stop by every Friday for DJ Skate Nights.

Where: YZD Experience Centre – 34 Hanover Rd.
Cost: Free admission

University of Toronto New Music Festival

Enjoy the annual festival of contemporary music by the University of Toronto. There are two days left of concerts, workshops and master classes as the team celebrates new music.

When: Until Feb. 3, 2026
Time: Varies depending on the concert
Where: Various venues
Cost: Free and ticketed

The Bentway’s Winter Skate

The Bentway is a figure loop rink under the Gardiner. It’s easy to get to, and it’s free to enjoy.

When: Until Feb. 16, 2026
Time: 5 to 9 p.m., weekdays
Where: The Bentway – 250 Fort York Blvd.
Cost: Free admission

Ice Skating at The Well

Now it’s time for you to hit the ice! Bring your own skates or rent from the Skating Hut. All of the rental proceeds go towards the Out of the Cold Program. Though walk-ins are available, book an online reservation to secure your spot.

When: Until Feb. 16, 2026
Time: Fridays from 3 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cost: Free

The Ace Hotel’s winter chalet

According to the Ace Hotel, “Guests are invited to settle into a chic new alpine vibe at the Ace’s rooftop hotspot, complete with twinkling lights, blazing fireplaces, and warm blankets for snuggling indoors or out on the terrace.”

KUUMBA 365

The third edition of KUUMBA 365 celebrates Black culture through sound with original works from top musicians. This year, in partnership with The Power Plant, “Harbourfront Centre invites musicians Dennis Passley, Larnell Lewis and Dwight Jones respond to this season’s exhibitions by Jeneen Frei Njootli and Christina Leslie, connecting music and contemporary art,” shares organizers.

KUUMBA 365 is Toronto’s largest and longest-running Black Futures Month Festival.
