The long weekend is nearly here, and if your calendar is stuffed with Thanksgiving dinners – then you’re doing it right. In case you need something between turkey sessions, here are all the things you can do in and around Edmonton on Thanksgiving Monday.

Edmonton Valley Zoo

Probably the cutest way to spend your Thanksgiving – or kill some time before dinner! You can visit the Zoo this Thanksgiving Monday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Royal Alberta Museum

While usually closed on Mondays, the Royal Alberta Museum will be open this Thanksgiving according to their holiday hours. Check out their feature exhibition Angkor, the lost empire of Cambodia, now extended until January.

Metro Cinema

This community-based independent cinema will be playing a variety of films on Thanksgiving Day! Whether you’re in the mood for a throwback like When Harry Met Sally, or fancy something macabre like Terrifier 3, you’ve got options!

Edmonton Ghost Tours
