And just like that, it’s the first weekend of February! From concerts, to Swan Lake, and a Vietnamese Lunar New Year Celebration, there are several experiences to check out in the city over the coming days. Here are the best things to do in and around Seattle this weekend.
Winter might be here for a while but it doesn’t mean that you can’t get a little heat. The Volunteer Park Conservatory is open year-round and is full of beautiful tropical plants. It’s a great place to stroll with a date and enjoy a little peace and quiet in one of Seattle’s best parks.
Besides its usual $6 entrance, there are free days at the Park and they are on the 1st Thursdays and 1st Saturdays of each month.

South African-born, Switzerland-based Queen of deep house, Nora En Pure, is in Seattle soon and you can get lost in her immaculate beats and sounds.
Globally renowned and adored for her cinematic soundscapes and ethereal performances, so be sure not to miss this one. Syd Gris, Chris Tower, and Johnny Monsoon are also on the bill.

Live music with a scenic backdrop of Elliot Bay? Count us in! The Edgewater Hotel is kicking off Sound Waves, an all-new concert series hosted at Six Seven Restaurant. The show opens with Certainly So, a new indie-rock band touring all the way from Nashville on Friday, February 2nd. Get your tickets online and prepare for an epic night of music, cocktails, and scenic bay views.
When: Friday, February 2. Doors open at 5:30 PM, show starts at 7 PM.

Sit back and let the Pacific Northwest Ballet transport you to the wondrous world of Kent Stowell’s Swan Lake.
“This ballet classic is carefully crafted to keep you on the edge of your seat, from the epic dancing, to the stunning scenery and costumes, to the iconic score (perfectly played by the PNB Orchestra),” states the event website.
And it’s on for a few days this February.

Seattle Center Festál presents Tết in Seattle – a Vietnamese Lunar New Year Celebration, on February 3rd and 4th, 2024. According to organizers, this is Seattle’s “largest annual Tết festival.”
This year, you can expect live performances, Lion Dances, local food vendors, art exhibits, a fashion show, hands-on activities for the kids, and family-oriented events for all to enjoy.

The Wing Luke Museum is kicking off the Year of the Dragon with a celebration for the whole family. This year, you can enjoy a lion dance, festive art activities, music and much more. Parade admission is free, and be sure to secure your tickets to extend your celebrations within the museum!
