And just like that, we are halfway through July! Which means, summer is in full swing, and KDAYS is back! That’s right, our fun summer festival returns with its rides and concerts. Taste of Edmonton also returns this week, among other festivities. Get ready to head out, and check out these things to do in and around Edmonton this week!

Taste of Edmonton has grown to be known as the largest food festival in Western Canada, and it is back this July for 11 days of food, drinks, and local artisans. And it is celebrating its 40th Anniversary!

Days are back at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, and there’s lots to get excited about this year! Enjoy 10 action-packed days of rides, food, shopping, performances, and concerts. Whether you’re coming for the mini-donuts, or the KDays Music Fest (which is FREE with general admission), there’s something for everyone to enjoy this summer.

Calling all legendary thrifters! It’s that time of the year again: Goodwill’s Thrifting Hall of Fame! Get inducted as one of the best thrifters in Alberta. – or nominate someone you know. There are 6 categories and winners will get a prize package, a trophy, and a live award ceremony to celebrate their crowning achievement. Just try to stay humble!

Check out the Muttart Conservatory’s Feature Pyramid, which showcases Ancient Egyptian botanical and agricultural plant life. The Conservatory will be exploring three major themes of Ancient Egyptian Botanicals: funerary, agricultural, and gardens. This is on display from now until September 2nd. And adults-only nights take place on Wednesdays.
