Happy short week, Edmonton! While yes, the last long weekend of summer is now behind us, we at least know it’s a short week ahead. Plus, we have sunny skies kicking it off, and technically it is still summer. So let’s enjoy it while it is here! Check out these things to do in and around Edmonton this week.

Cirque Italia: Water Circus

Get ready to dive into the magical world of Cirque Italia! There will be magic, acrobats, aerialists, and comedy collide under the big top with a unique water stage.

Blooms on 7 Flower Farm

Why not spend some time in a stunning flower farm this week? You can book a U-pick visit, and there’s even Alpacas at this farm! Head to Edmonton’s only flower and alpaca farm this week!

Where Dark Things Dwell

Ready for an adventure this month? Where Dark Things Dwell is Fort Edmonton Park’s newest interactive experience, and you can immerse yourself in Edmonton’s largest outdoor escape room.

Twilight Picnic Experience

Ready to enjoy a picnic evening? Grab a blanket and get ready to enjoy a wine or beer and let everything slow down. This Twilight Picnic Experience includes admission to the garden for two people, live musical entertainment and gourmet picnic box for two. Be sure to reserve in advance!

India Film Festival of Alberta

The opening night of the 10th annual India Film Festival of Alberta promises to be a star-studded affair, as per organizers. You can expect “a red carpet hosting an array of dignitaries, celebrities, and luminaries such as Shabana Azmi, Saiyami Kher, R. Balki, Gauri Shinde, Gautham Vasudev Menon, R. D. Rajasekhar, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, and Vikranth Massey.”

The Big Bounce Canada

The Big Bounce Canada has arrived in Edmonton. Described as “the world’s most extraordinary inflatable theme park,” it combines the largest bouncy castle on the planet with multitudes of activities for all ages. Timed sessions are divided by age groups, with this Friday being an “adult” session suitable for all ages 16 and older.

WWE Smackdown

Alright Edmonton, for the first time in 11 years, WWE Friday Night Smackdown is back in the city. See your favorite SmackDown Superstars Including: Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, United States Champion LA Knight, Bayley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, The Bloodline, Kevin Owens, and WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax.

Cocktails and Jerk Festival 

Check out the Cocktails and Jerk Festival this Friday! Cocktails and Jerk is “an annual celebration of Caribbean culture, flavours, and rhythms, emphasizing Jamaican heritage.” You can enjoy live music, delicious jerk dishes, tropical cocktails, and vibrant community spirit!

2024 Alberta Night Market Edmonton
