With the short week, we’ve already reached the weekend! And with it comes a lot of fun in the city! Whether you’re looking to check out a concert, or to picnic in a garden, or an outdoor festival, the city has got it all. On top of that, the weather is looking warm and sunny. So get out there and check out these things to do in and around Edmonton this weekend!

Twilight Picnic Experience

Ready to enjoy a picnic evening? Grab a blanket and get ready to enjoy a wine or beer and let everything slow down. This Twilight Picnic Experience includes admission to the garden for two people, live musical entertainment and gourmet picnic box for two. Be sure to reserve in advance!

India Film Festival of Alberta

The opening night of the 10th annual India Film Festival of Alberta promises to be a star-studded affair, as per organizers. You can expect “a red carpet hosting an array of dignitaries, celebrities, and luminaries such as Shabana Azmi, Saiyami Kher, R. Balki, Gauri Shinde, Gautham Vasudev Menon, R. D. Rajasekhar, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, and Vikranth Massey.”

Dinos & Drinks

Get ready for Dinos & Drinks! This evening will offer an exclusive adult-only event where you can sip, mingle, and journey back in time to the Mesozoic Era! It will be a one-of-a-kind experience in Dinosaurs: The Exhibition, according to Telus World of Science.

WWE Smackdown

Alright Edmonton, for the first time in 11 years, WWE Friday Night Smackdown is back in the city. Check out the Cocktails and Jerk Festival this Friday! Cocktails and Jerk is “an annual celebration of Caribbean culture, flavours, and rhythms, emphasizing Jamaican heritage.” You can enjoy live music, delicious jerk dishes, tropical cocktails, and vibrant community spirit!

The Big Bounce Canada

The Big Bounce Canada has arrived in Edmonton. Described as “the world’s most extraordinary inflatable theme park,” it combines the largest bouncy castle on the planet with multitudes of activities for all ages. Timed sessions are divided by age groups, with this Friday being an “adult” session suitable for all ages 16 and older.

2024 Alberta Night Market Edmonton
