Holiday festivities are springing up all over the city with markets, light displays, performances, and more. Revel in wintery cheer with nostalgic selections from The Nutcracker, a beloved ballet and one of Tchaikovsky’s most well-known compositions. While Mozart never wrote a full ballet, he included the dance and accompanying music as part of his opera Idomeneo.

Sign up for a casual painting workshop and see where your creativity leads you! These adult classes do not require any prior experience or skill and are offered weekly at the Art Gallery of Alberta, with a different theme every week connected to their current exhibitions.

Fancy a little theatre? This brand-new show is based on the lives of iconic country music stars lives of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Catch it at the Citadel Theatre and take a musical journey through the decades.

This impactful exhibit offers a family-friendly adventure filled with engaging, hands-on activities. Learn about solar power, try your hand at carbon capture pinball, and delve into Indigenous Ways of Knowing. Learn how small changes can add up to create big impacts. This exhibit is included with regular admission to the TELUS World of Science.

Enjoy a dazzling drive-through light display. This 2.5 km journey will feature over two million twinkling LED lights and includes a 200-foot tunnel of lights and a new towering, animated 32-foot Barbie!
