Holiday festivities are springing up all over the city with markets, light displays, performances, and more. Paranormal Tours

The Nutcracker & Mozart

Revel in wintery cheer with nostalgic selections from The Nutcracker, a beloved ballet and one of Tchaikovsky’s most well-known compositions. While Mozart never wrote a full ballet, he included the dance and accompanying music as part of his opera Idomeneo.

Adult Open Studio

Sign up for a casual painting workshop and see where your creativity leads you! These adult classes do not require any prior experience or skill and are offered weekly at the Art Gallery of Alberta, with a different theme every week connected to their current exhibitions.

Edmonton Christmas Market

The Edmonton Christmas Market will be returning this November so get ready to experience the magic of the holiday season! There will be over 120 rotating vendors this year alongside seasonal eats, unique gifts, and festive entertainment.

The Legendary Life of Tom Petty

The Ballad of Johnny and June

Fancy a little theatre? This brand-new show is based on the lives of iconic country music stars lives of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Catch it at the Citadel Theatre and take a musical journey through the decades.

Our Climate Quest Exhibition

This impactful exhibit offers a family-friendly adventure filled with engaging, hands-on activities. Learn about solar power, try your hand at carbon capture pinball, and delve into Indigenous Ways of Knowing. Learn how small changes can add up to create big impacts. This exhibit is included with regular admission to the TELUS World of Science.

Canadian Tire Magic of Lights

Enjoy a dazzling drive-through light display. This 2.5 km journey will feature over two million twinkling LED lights and includes a 200-foot tunnel of lights and a new towering, animated 32-foot Barbie!

Borealis Lights

Back for its second year, this drive-thru Christmas light display takes you through an extended route of twinkling lights and captivating displays.
