The last long weekend of summer has arrived, and with it also comes Alberta Day! If you haven’t made any plans yet, we have a lot of concerts, markets, and even Disney in Concert in town this weekend. Looking for ideas? Here are the best things to do in and around Edmonton this Labour Day weekend!

On August 30 & 31, head to Churchill Square for a magical journey brought to life by the talents of four Broadway calibre singers and the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra! Disney in Concert Once Upon a Time features high resolution Animated Feature Film sequences, and will include sounds from Encanto, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, The Lion King, and many more.

It’s time to say goodbye to the Alberta Avenue District Night Markets! The Wrap Up Hosted by AFRICARNIVAL takes place this Friday, featuring eaturing delicious food from local African community businesses, entertainment by local artists.
