The fall chill comes on faster in Calgary than in most cities, but our cultural, arts, and event offerings definitely won’t be cooling off anytime soon.

September is a great time to experience the best of the season, and Calgary and the surrounding area are packed with plenty of things to do. Whether you’ll be picking pumpkins, singing your heart out at a live show, learning a new dance or experiencing jaw-dropping stunts, September in Calgary really has it all.

Cirque du Soleil Echo

The world-renowned acrobatics group will perform at the Big Top for the opening night of its new show, Echo, with bold new visuals, surprising twists, and never-before-seen acrobatic feats.

Fall at Calgary Farmyard

Brighten up the end of autumn with this celebration of the best of the season at the Calgary Farmyard. The entire farm will be open and lit up with bright lights, plus its legendary corn maze will be open until 9 p.m.

Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) 2025
